Seattle Sundries

I used to use shaving soap at home, but canned shaving cream when I was traveling. I wanted to change that, and an internet search found this portable kit. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for -- compact, and totally watertight to pack up and move. An added bonus for me was also discovering the best shaving soaps that I have ever tried! I'm totally sold on the Seattle Sundries system, and as a frequent visitor to the Seattle area, I am also happy to support a local, small business.

The shave soap that I used went out of business, and I made the mistake of thinking that they were all the same. I discovered that most of the common ones turned into a pile of gooey mush when used a few times. The Seattle Sundries shave soaps are different. To start with, they give some simple instructions on how to create a rich lather while not drowning the soap. Then, it dries up nicely in between uses, and produces a soothing, smooth shaving surface. And all at a reasonable price. I love this stuff!

I live in the SF bay area, and have never visited the store, but I love the products. I found the store online when I searched for a portable soap/lather shaving kit for travel. The kit is excellent quality at a good price. The greater discovery is probably the shaving soap that they sell, which is far superior to what I've found at Amazon, and again, at a decent price.

I LOVE this chapstick. I have to use chapstick every night due to my cpap. If I don't my lips get super duper dry. This chapstick is much better than what I was using beforehand. The smell is also amazing.

The class was technical and informative and gave me the confidence to work with lye. I would have liked to come away with giftable soaps and would have paid more if a silcone mold and the additional soap mixture needed were included.

This bar was a gift to my sister-in-law whose skin gets super dry in winter and is very sensitive to scented body products. This bar is safe bet. I bought it for my dad who has the same issues and he loves it!

Wonderful introduction to soap making class! I've already run out and purchased the basic supplies needed to start creating on my own. A fun way to spend the afternoon and go home with some wonderful smelling treats.

I love this particular soap, the sasquatch soap smells great and feels natural.

P.S. I miss the lemon bar of soap, used to get a few of the lemons with saquatch so awesome
